How Can Our Services Help Your Clients?

At K3, we know just how important looking after your clients is to you, and we understand that you might not always have the specific reach within your practice to advise them on every perceivable operational issue they may have. That’s why we have curated a number of services which leverage our own Group’s expertise to allow you to offer your clients everything they could possibly need with regards to M&A, tax, business recovery and insolvency.

Our Insolvency Division offers a diverse range of services to clients across a plethora of sectors. We can provide advice on forensic accounting and investigations and restricting and insolvency. This enables us to help you not only identify potential issues within your business but also advise on how to resolve them.

These are services we have continued to provide despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, such as our recent work with one of our clients who experienced a failed part-completion of their vehicle manufacturing facility. Through battling various legal challenges on behalf of our clients, and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business, our Recovery and Insolvency Division struck a £30m deal, returning the vast majority of funds to the business’ creditors.

Our Tax Division includes randd, inTax, K3 Tax Advisory and, following our Group’s acquisition of the Knight group of companies in July 2021, Knight R&D. Our experts are qualified and experienced in advising on a wide spectrum of tax matters including tax investigations and tax efficient R&D investment.

Recent work undertaken by our Tax Division includes advising in a VAT Investigation, in which our client’s business had received a final demand from HMRC and the threat of court action and debt collectors. Due to the proficiency of our team, the matter was resolved in our client’s favour. An industrial equipment manufacturer approached our Tax Division seeking help claiming research and development tax credits. Our specialists’ work ensured the firm has now received over £105,000 in previously unclaimed tax credits, allowing the business to facilitate the launch of two new products in 2021 already.

K3’s M&A Division specialises in the business sales, corporate finance, transaction services, debt advisory, and buy-side advisory. 2021 has so far proved successful for our M&A Division, with over 165 deals completed within the first 6 months of the year, 25% more than any other UK advisor. This culminated in K3 being named as the UK’s most active adviser for the first half of 2021 in Refinitiv Global Mid-Market M&A Review. Our wide ranging and tailored buyer targeting strategies, which attracts acquirers and investors from across the Globe, has ensured that K3’s M&A Division continues to remain a UK market leader.

Our M&A Division includes KBS Corporate, KBS Corporate Finance, Knight CF, Knightsbridge Commercial, Market Mapping, and K3 Debt Advisory

We would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our expertise with any clients that you feel could benefit from our services, and of course you as an adviser can benefit from new income streams through referrals and associated work to assist the services K3 can provide, access to CPD-accredited training tools, and diagnostics tools for you and your client to use together to assess cashflow, business valuations, R&D tax credit eligibility, and potential acquirers should they be looking to sell, all managed by a dedicated Business Development Manager to help look after your needs.
