Our Restructuring and Advisory Division Corporate Finance team shortlisted for three Insider South East Dealmakers Awards

We are pleased to announce that our Corporate Finance team has been recognised by Insider Media in its upcoming South East Dealmakers Awards 2023 with the Quantuma team being shortlisted as finalists in three categories.

During the qualifying period for these Awards, Our Restructuring and Advisory Division team completed over 35 deals worth in excess of £400m in value. In recognition of another successful year, we have been shortlisted for Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year and our Corporate Finance Managing Director, Ian Barton, has been shortlisted for Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year.

Ian has been a prolific deal doer in the South East for 20 years, leading on several of the regions’ most notable and award-winning deals. During 2022, Ian has led on the sales of Launch Diagnostics to Avacta plc, Portman to Compliancy Services, Climb Online to xDNA and Cuts Ice to Supreme plc.  He also advised the vendors on LDC’s investment in E-trading Software and the vendors on an EOT of Intec Systems, amongst other deals.

Our recently promoted Corporate Finance Director, Calvin Bond has been shortlisted for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year. Despite only working in the deals market for four years, Calvin has quickly established himself as a deal leader in Our Restructuring and Advisory Division team. He is already recognised for his hands-on leadership and clarity of thought in delivering results for clients.

In an evening dedicated to honouring the standout deals over the past 12 months and the people that made them happen across the region, the winners will be unveiled at a gala dinner event taking place at the Copthorne Hotel, Effingham Park on 9 February 2023.
