K3’s M&A Division Named as the UK’s Most Active Advisor for First Half of 2021

K3’s M&A Division has been named by Refinitiv as the UK’s most active adviser for the first half of 2021 in the Global Mid-Market M&A Review.

To secure this position, our M&A Division completed 167 qualifying deals in the period – a year-on-year increase of 90 deals. This amounts to completing almost 25% more deals than any other UK adviser.

The UK M&A has seen a year on year increase of 80% in total transaction volumes – a positive indicator that the M&A market is recovering to pre-pandemic levels.

The result secures our M&A Division’s status as the UK’s most active adviser, having previously being named as such during Refinitiv’s Q1 2021 report. It also sees the retention of the title from the same period of 2020.

In addition to this, our global performance has seen the group improve from ninth position to fifth when comparing the first half of 2020 and 2021. This strong performance is reflected in the European listing where our M&A Division has climbed from fifth to third.
