Our fifth Accentuate by K3 Hub webinar of the year will take place on Friday 20th October.

In this session, aimed at accountants and other professional advisers, amongst other things we take a look at the forthcoming ICAEW CPD requirements, changes to reporting material discrepancies to Companies House, current laws, and the latest developments in HMRC enquiry trends. 

Regulatory update – 9.00am to 9.30am

It’s important that your firm maintains a high standard of compliance with ICAEW regulations and current laws, and that your commitment to these is reflected in everyday practices. 

During this 30 minute session, Victoria Johnson, Managing Director (Quality & Risk) at Quantuma, will discuss the latest regulatory developments. She will cover:

  • New ICAEW CPD requirements coming into force in November
  • A brief outline of the Economic Crime & Transparency Bill
  • Changes to reporting material discrepancies to Companies House
  • A data protection update

HMRC update – 9.30am to 10.00am

In this session, Jeremy Johnson, Managing Director at inTAX Ltd, will discuss the latest developments in tax investigations including current HMRC enquiry trends. His session includes:

  • An update on HMRC R&D enquiries
  • HMRC action in relation to payroll providers
